PRODUCT PROFILE

Particle board – also known as particleboard, low-density fibreboard (LDF), and chipboard – is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even sawdust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded.[1] Oriented strand board, also known as flakeboard, waferboard, or chipboard, is similar but uses machined wood flakes offering more strength. All of these are composite materials that belong to the spectrum of fiberboard products.

1.Particleboard has good sound absorption and sound insulation properties; particleboard has heat insulation and sound absorption;

2. The inside of the particleboard is a granular cross-scattered structure, the performance of each direction is basically the same, and the lateral bearing capacity is relatively poor;

3. The particleboard has a flat surface and can be used for various veneers;

4. In the production process of particleboard, the amount of glue used is small, and the environmental protection coefficient is relatively high.
